The book is written by Afinador de Guillermo, a famous Spanish guitarist who was also an important member of the band Le Tigre. It describes in detail how he came to be part of this musical group and goes into details on the bands musical background, their music style, and their live performances. Also included is a gallery of pictures that illustrate the bands influences and history. For the most part the book is a little dry, although there are some gems hidden throughout which I really enjoyed.
Overall, this book is not all that comprehensive as many of the books written by other guitarists have been. However, it does give a great insight into what it was like to be a member of the band Le Tigre and the different musicians they employed, as well as Afinador himself. There is also a brief section describing the history of the band, the different members that formed it, and the different instruments they used throughout the years. Included with the book is a CD of a song from the band called "Chalice of Sacrifice". While this may not be something that will interest everyone, for me it was a nice touch to include this with the book. Overall, this book is a good read and it gives you a glimpse of what it was like to be a member of Le Tigre.
Overall, the book is not too detailed nor does it provide anything that cannot already be found elsewhere on the internet or in guitar books. However, for someone looking for a quick overview on the band's history and a bit of insight into their music and performances, this book might just be the right place to start.
